"No one learns to stand up by standing up"
- Anat Baniel

NeuroMovement® for Kids

"Building a more effective and more powerful brain requires us
to start where the child is, and where that brain is right now.”

—Dr. Michael Merzenich,PhD, Supporter of NeuroMovement

With our NeuroMovement® approach, we do not focus on trying to have a child accomplish a specific developmental milestone at a given time. We believe that every child develops at her own rate and through her own unique path.

We understand that when we try to directly control and force a child to perform what we think he should be able to do, we actually are very likely to interfere in his brain’s development.

NeuroMovement® uses gentle movements and the 9 Essentials, which offer concrete, effective, and immediate ways to easily tap into the enormous potential of your child’s brain.
Your child’s brain will be flooded with new information, and quickly begin to form new, more effective patterns of movement, cognition, feeling, and emotion.

To be truly helpful to any child, we need to back off from trying to make the child do what he/she cannot do yet.

With NeuroMovement®, we connect with your child wherever she/he is at. We provide him/her with the many variations and experiences her/his brain needs in order to begin creating new patterns and possibilities.

We need to recognize the fundamental role that your child’s brain plays in learning new skills. For over 30 years, Anat has observed again and again how the brain has the ability to create successful solutions to challenges, if given the information that it needs. We need to move out of fixing the "issue", into connecting with the child of where he/she is at now and giving him/her the information his/her brain needs to move past limitations.

The Anat Baniel Method Neuromovement is known to help with conditions like:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and ADD

• Cerebral Palsy CP

• Down’s Syndrome

• Learning Disabilities

• Scoliosis

• Genetic Disorders

• Developmental Delays
